                    [Summary] => CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna — Two farmers are facing murder charges for the fatal stabbing of a Romblon physician recently.


Police said the victim, Dr. Martin Antonio Morgado, a resident doctor of the RPH Odiongan Hospital, was attacked near the boundary of Barangays Mayuga and Tulay in Odiongan, Romblon.


Morgado sustained stab wounds in the abdomen and other parts of the body.


The two suspects, farmers Edgar Gaad and Geronimo Foja, were apparently high on drugs when they assaulted the doctor after coming from a drinking spree, police said.
