[Summary] => SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union — The Regional Trial Court here issued a decision affirming the dissolution of the Metro La Union Water District (MLUWD), including the termination of all the six members of the board of directors which will pave the way for its privatization.

In his 15-page decision on Sept. 22, 2005, Judge Adolfo Alagar of Branch 66 concluded that the transfer of MLUWD operations to the provincial government of La Union, which had proposed its privatization, is in the best interest of the general public.
