[Summary] => Dr. Jose Dacudao, national president of Save Our Languages through Federalism (Solfed), e-mailed me this letter announcing with deep sorrow the untimely death of Jemarie Varon, 19 (who just turned 19 last April 27), in Butuan City last Tuesday, May 2. Shes the first Solfed member to be murdered, but it seems that her death is not linked to our language advocacy.

Frankly speaking, I too was kinda surprised about this bit of news, why the Sandigan was conducting the Erap trials in Filipino? Was this perhaps another Erap ploy to sow confusion in the courts? For what advantage can anyone get with using Filipino in the trial?

Prof. Causing sent me a note asking me to study this system which he believes if coupled with a federal system might just be the answer to our countrys call for better governance.
