I was fortunate to get to drive a really spanking-brand-new alternative small sport utility vehicle (SUV) during the holiday season. Kia Motors Quezon Avenue, through General Manager Marc de Joya and General Sales Manager Dong Aberin, gifted me with a two-week-long test drive of their new white test unit Sportage, and it was so new that when I drove it out of the dealership, the interior still had plastic covers and the odometer only registered 35 kilometers.
