[Title] => Bukidnon: Memories and thrills
[Summary] => Bukidnon then and now has changed so much, and yet has somehow remained the same. During my youth, summers were spent either on the beach among coconut trees in Leyte or with the cattle and local cowboys in the open fields of Bukidnon.

[Title] => Sunday with the Monks
[Summary] => It’s my third time in Bukidnon and the majestic Mt. Kitanglad range never fails to awe. You see mountains that seem to be layered into the horizon, bamboo and coconut trees swaying with the wind, and cows grazing or simply watching life pass by.

[Title] => Holy couture! Gang Gomez designs liturgical vestments using Filipino fabrics
[Summary] => Once a designer, always a designer. Gang Gomez may have embraced a life of piety as the Benedictine monk Dom Martin de Jesus H. Gomez, OSB, but his love for highlighting the best of Filipino indigenous fabrics still runs in his blessed veins.

[Title] => The Promised Land, or conquering the fear factor
[Summary] =>
1. Having left Iloilo Citys Fort San Pedro at around 10 p.m. on Feb. 11, we arrived at Iligan City Port by 11 a.m. the following day. This was to be our port of entry to Mindanao Island. Breakfast at the Superferry wasnt so bad. For P95, one could have two cups of fried rice, two eggs cooked any style, a choice of daing na bangus, beef tapa or longganisa, and a cup of coffee.

[Title] => Vestment interest
[Summary] =>
The Benedictines, the oldest among priestly orders, have always been closely associated with the arts. In architecture, they are credited for the monastery, the quintessential expression of Romanesque architecture. The grandest of this was the abbey at Cluny, a self contained structure that had all that was necessary for the bodily existence and spiritual nourishment of men of contemplation, as well as the world-weary.
