The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) is now pushing for a "real-time" link-up of all its earthquake monitoring stations across the country for more effective tsunami warning.
"What we need is a real-time link-up of these stations with the main office. We need to find the technology to link these all up," Philvolcs director Renato Solidum said at yesterdays Kapihan sa Sulo Hotel forum.
