Part of my mission besides bringing Rudy back to Iloilo was to survey the havoc brought about by an oil spill in Guimaras Island. Despite a bad cold I was in Jordan town where I proceeded to Nueva Valencia one of the hardest hit by the spill. As I was approaching the town I saw several people being evacuated.
