My heading may sound Bisaya, but what the heck (the halls, with boughs of holly), this was the best way to inject some post-Christmas season cheer, and still call attention to the book-giving motif of this section. A number of people reacted favorably to my last column, where I ran down a number of recent fiction titles as possible gift ideas; and so here’s a Part II for that New Year book-shopping.
