[Title] => Thoughts for the new year
[Summary] => If you were to ask me what, in a single word, defined the homestretch of the year 2004, I would have to say it would be, tragedy. In quick rapid succession, our country and our region was hit with one tragedy after another blindsiding the most festive season of the year. FPJs sudden death, KCs tragic demise, the tremendous losses to our brothers in Quezon province due to flashfloods and landslide, and the massive destruction of life and property to our Asian neighbors caused by powerful tsunamis.

[Title] => The beauty and passion of poetry
[Summary] => Seize the day!
This is what the movie called Dead Poets Society has taught me. I still remember the way Mr. John Keatings eyes sparkled while uttering those inspirational words.
The movie revolves around an idealistic teacher who is an inspiration to his students. Mr. Keating is a passionate poet who believes that poetry and beauty, romance and love are the reasons we are alive. Poetry is everything for him and it is his passion for poetry that probably makes me love the movie. He is a very good and incomparable teacher whom I admire.

[Title] => Khaki and denim
[Summary] => The very first thing one will notice about cousins Illac Diaz and Robin da Roza (Illac’s father and Robin’s mother are siblings) is how they’re as different as khaki and denim. Yes. Khaki and denim. Illac, like khaki, is sophisticated, streamlined, and very earthy. Robin on the other hand, like denim, is very rugged, a little punk, and sort of bugoy. However, they’re both very versatile, and both can go from classic to deep to far out, in both their lifestyle and outlook in life.
