President Arroyo has signed into law the Personal Equity and Retirement Account (PERA) for individuals not covered by the existing pension funds as well as those who want to invest their money for benefits during their retirement.

When the editor explained that it wasn’t the policy of the newspaper to include a contributor’s chain of degrees in his byline, the contributor said: “Ah, diay. O di ba inggit ka lang?”
