                    [Title] => Barangay folk forced to wear surrender tags?
                    [Summary] =>

ANGELES CITY — Residents of Barangay Sapang Bato here consider themselves luckier than Novo Ecijanos who were allegedly forced by soldiers to eat their expired cedulas (community tax certificates).

The reason: Soldiers allegedly compelled them to just wear a tag with the words "Sumuko na ako (I have already surrendered)" and made to walk in the streets for all to see.

The CHR found that police authorities used "excessive force" during the siege at the jail facility which resulted in the death of 22 suspected Abu Sayyaf inmates and two jail guards and the wounding of a police officer.

Ayon kay Commissioner Wilhelm Soriano, dapat na patunayan ng TMG na banta si Manzano kung kaya’t napilitan ang mga pulis na muli itong ratratin sa naganap na shootout sa Ortigas.
