[Title] => FEU indoor spikers pace Nestea beach volley
[Summary] => Jessie Lopez and Joshua Alcarde, who have won back-to-back UAAP titles with FEU in men’s indoor volleyball, are also making some heads turn in beach volleyball.

The FEU pair, young and energetic, yesterday remained unbeaten in the 10th Nestea Beach Volley Championship at the La Salle Greenhills sandcourt.

Lopez, who’s turning 20 next week, and Alcarde, who turned 18 last month, went 2-0 following a 25-12 win over Lyceum’s Alfredo Montemayor and Melville Fabro.

Janley Patrona, who was part of the St. Benilde team that won the men’s title in Boracay last year, is back for what could be his final stint in this annual summer event.

And he couldn’t ask for a better partner in Rael Pio de Castro, a rookie in the Nestea event but a veteran of the NCAA where he recently helped St. Benilde win the title.
