The Quezon City government has collected more than P1.6 billion in revenue during the first 22 days of this year.


City Treasurer Dr. Victor Endriga reported to Mayor Feliciano Belmonte Jr. that the city has collected a total of P1,649,738,634.64 in tax payments during the first 22 days of the year.


Endriga said the amount represents an increase of P294,722,388.90 over last year’s P1,359,016,321 gross collection.

In his annual report to Quezon City Mayor Feliciano Belmonte Jr., city treasurer Victor Endriga Jr. said the city has posted a total collection of P5,314,031,177.58, ahead of the city’s P5.175 annual budget this year. 


"This is the biggest ever in Quezon City history," he said.
