When foreigners or even locals for that matter, think about travelling around the Philippines, Manila isn't usually top of mind. More often than not, what is shown about our country on most travelogues, brochures, blogs, and magazines are images of landscapes outside the capital: beaches, volcanoes, coral reefs, rice terraces, etc. And all with good reason, of course. But sometimes I wish more people gave Manila a chance.

It was hard to choose just one favorite experience so I decided to make a montage of all my favorite Philippine experiences. The beauty and magic of our country lies heavily on its diversity, so here are snippets from our three main island groups : Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao taken during my travels.
There really is nothing quite like the Philippines, it's gentle people, it's scrumptious food, and it's natural beauty. I love how there is still so much of it to discover during my lifetime! :) I love the Philippines!
