(MPSC) announced yesterday that a transponder of its Agila II satellite was leased recently by Verestar, Inc., a global provider of network communications solutions that links business and the world.

And this early, MPSC and Verestar are already negotiating for the lease of another transponder.

With Mabuhay’s Agila II’s transponder, Verestar is now capable of providing high-speed Internet service at up to 60 mega bits per second to Internet Service Providers (ISPs) in the region, including the Philippines.
