The Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Force (AIDSOTF) has asked Interior and Local Government  Undersecretary Marius Corpuz to determine  if a jail warden at Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig City is liable for the continued drug pushing activities of a jailed member of a Chinese drug syndicate inside the facility.


In a letter, AIDSOTF commander Director Marcelo Ele Jr., requested Corpuz for an official investigation against Superintendent Edgar Bolcio, of the Metro Manila District Jail (MMDJ), who has jurisdiction over jailed drug pusher Li Siu Chen.

The police Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Force (AIDSOTF) recommended yesterday the relief of a jail warden at Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig City for allegedly allowing the continued drug dealing operation of a jailed member of a Chinese drug syndicate.


AIDSOTF commander Director Marcelo Ele Jr. said they would also ask Interior Undersecretary Marius Corpuz to conduct a parallel probe to determine whether Superintendent Edgar Bolcio, warden of the Metro Manila District Jail (MMDJ), could be held liable for gross negligence.

Operatives of the police Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Force (AIDSOTF) are looking into the activities of an arrested Chinese national who continues to peddle shabu even while in jail.


AIDSOTF commander Director Marcelo Ele Jr. said the activities of Li Siu Chen were exposed following the arrest of his wife and four other relatives for peddling 300 grams of shabu in Pasay City last  week.


Li is currently detained at Camp Bagong Diwa in Bicutan, Taguig after he was caught in possession of 15 kilos of shabu. A local court had denied him bail.
