[Summary] => CAMP AQUINO, Tarlac — The Armed Forces Northern Luzon Command (Nolcom) announced yesterday a "major breakthrough" in its counter-insurgency campaign after five top leaders of the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army (CPP-NPA) were captured in San Jose, Tarlac last Tuesday.

Nolcom said the five were captured by men of the Army’s 69th Infantry Battalion in the house of one Petring Ancheta, said to be a sister of the San Jose mayor, in Barangay Mababanaba.
