Filfest Cultural Foundation, Insular with BMW and San Miguel Corporation present “Rock Symphonies” featuring violinist Joseph Brian Cimafranca and the Manila Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Prof. Arturo Molina on Nov. 17, Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Insular Life Auditorium in Filinvest, Alabang. Classical masterworks by Saint-Saens, Brahms, Vivaldi and De Beriot will be heard side by side crossover renditions popularized by violinist David Garret such as He’s  Pirate, Michael Jackson Medley, and Mission Impossible.

In addition to the eight outstanding Cebuanos bestowed with the Garbo sa Sugbo award during the 437th founding anniversary celebration of the Province of Cebu last August, Governor Gwendolyn Garcia has added to her list of awardees ten more distinguished Cebuanos who excelled in their respective fields.
