Filipino food recently took center stage again in Jakarta, when Philippine Airlines and the Department of Agriculture brought the Filipino Food Festival to the Satoo Restaurant in the city of Jakarta. Our younger daughter is a foodie, and is married to a British executive chef of the Ninety Nine chain in Jakarta. She often craves for Filipino food, thus she was one of those who trooped to the venue on its opening. Here is her account.
