On the seventh day of the seventh month of the year, William "Butch" Ramirez was sworn in yesterday morning as the seventh chairman of the Philippine Sports Commission.
Ramirez took his oath before President Arroyo. He thanked the President for the opportunity to serve the government then vowed to do his best.
"Maraming salamat po for your trust and confidence," Ramirez told the President as she shook his hands after the oath-taking ceremony held at the Heroes Hall of Malacanang.
