The Philippines’ medal-less campaign in the 2012 London Olympics is understandable because the competition there has been expectedly tough for the country’s 11 Olympic bets in eight sports.

Still, this shouldn’t go unnoticed, especially if this has been happening for many years now, not only in the quadrennial event but also in the more often Southeast Asian games, where our country had recently been a laughing stock.
