  Philippine Ambassador to Brazil Teresita V. G. Barsana reported Thursday to the Department of Foreign Affairs that no Filipinos have been reported hurt from the crash of TAM Linhas Aéreas flight JJ3054 in São Paulo , Brazil.  

Ambassador Barsana said that the Philippine Honorary Consulate General in São Paulo has reported to the Embassy that there were no Filipinos among the passengers of the ill-fated plane that skidded on landing at the Cogonhas-São Paulo International Airport last July 17.
