[Title] => 5 pang Pinoy umusad

[Title] => 5 Pinoys into 3rd round in US Open 9-ball event
[Summary] => Five Filipino cue artists led by Ronnie Alcano and Jose "Amang" Parica eased through the third round of the 31st US Open 9-Ball Championships at the Chesapeake Convention Center in Chesapeake, Virginia.
Alcano and Parica hurdled their first two assignments with finesse to advance into the next phase together with their fellow countrymen Santos Sambajon, Rodolfo Luat and Lee Van Corteza.
Alcano chopped up Jimmy Garza, 11-4, and Adam Smith, 11-1, to book a third round showdown with Sweden's Marcus Chamat, who earlier downed another Filipino entry Edwin Montal, 4-11.
