(PIP) on "Turmoil in Middle East-Impact on Oil Supplies and Oil Deregulation The Asian Experience", Petron president and chief executive officer Motassim Al-Maashouq said that at present, they are running at a rate of 126,000 barrels of oil per day (BOPD) or about 70 percent of its total refining capacity of 180,000 BOPD.

He noted that if ever there would be a slight increase in crude oil prices in the international market, it would be offset by the prevailing peso appreciation.
