Education Undersecretary for Muslim Affairs Manaros Boransing said that due to the lack of classroom facilities in public schools, Madrasah classes can only be held every Saturday for Muslim students.
Boransing said in their recent visit to different public schools in Manila last Saturday, DepEd officials were pleased with how the Madrasah curriculum developed by the department is carried out in Manila, Quezon City, Pateros and Taguig.

While the dictionary defines martyrdom as the suffering and death of a martyr, Ikbala said extremist groups have their own interpretation of the word.
