[Title] => Rico Hizons fruitcake is a winner
[Summary] => Rico Hizon makes us proud. As the only Filipino in the prestigious news organization BBC, he is proof that Filipinos can reach the top with sheer hard work and determination.
This journalism graduate from De La Salle University first used his degree by teaching a course on "Introduction to Broadcasting, Radio and TV Production" to La Salle students, but ever since he was small, he knew that he wanted to become a reporter.

[Title] => We can only brace for the inevitable
[Summary] => The vestiges of tariff protectionism are slowly crumbling and falling like dominoes one after the other. There was the Caltex refinery that ceased its refinery operations to gear up to be just a depot of sorts for their products that would be more viable if imported. Then there was also Shells base oil refinery in Pililia, Rizal that shut down simply because the deluge of imported base oil products made its operations untenable.

[Title] => GMA book celebrates 50 golden years of broadcastin
[Summary] => Late this afternoon, Channel 7 is launching its coffee table book, GMA Gold: 50 Years of Broadcast History, at the new GMA Network building in EDSA, Quezon City.
I havent seen the book yet, but I suppose its going to trace the companys growth through the decades.
Channel 7 has played and, as a matter of fact, continues to play a very important role in our lives by delivering news, information and wholesome entertainment straight into our homes every day.
