                    [Summary] => The Regional Peace and Order Council of Southern Mindanao or Region 11  was adjudged the country’s best for 2000. It also bagged the citation the previous year.


Interior and Local Government Secretary Jose Lina, who chairs the National Peace and Order Council (NPOC), said RPOC-11, headed by Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, bested 15 other RPOCs and bagged a trophy and a cash prize of P200,000.


Lina made the announcement during the 36th anniversary celebration of the National Police Commission (Napolcom) last Friday.
