[Title] => Patrol cars redeployed to 'strategic' areas
[Summary] => The city police yesterday changed the deployment of its vehicles which are now deployed in strategic locations for a quicker response as an offshoot to the Eastwest bank robbery last Monday.
Acting-city director Melvin Gayotin said he already instructed Mobile Patrol Group chief Arnel Banzon to effect the changes immediately as a counter-measure against robbery.
He said that before mobile patrols were detailed in exit points, but this should be changed now by deploying the vehicles in strategic locations so that there is a more focused area of responsibility.
