[Title] => 2 wounded in Cotabato attack
[Summary] => COTABATO CITY — Suspected partisans ambushed and seriously wounded two supporters of a mayoral candidate in Libungan, North Cotabato the other night, raising the specter of a showdown between two rival camps in the area.

Chief Inspector Rufino Inot, Libungan police chief, said the victims, Gerry Barbon and Boy Tudlas, are staunch supporters of re-electionist Mayor Ronaldo Pader.

Inot said Barbon and Tudlas were on their way to Barangay Kiluyao to join a campaign sortie there of Pader, who is seeking a third and last term, when they were fired upon.
