Despite lingering uncertainties in the market, Total Philippines Inc., the local unit of the world’s fourth largest oil and gas company, said it remains bullish on the prospects of the oil industry as it continues to expand its retail network.

Total (Philippines) Corp. (TPC), the local unit of the world’s fourth largest oil and gas company, reiterated yesterday its long-term commitment to do business in the Philippines as it completed the construction of its 100th retail gas station in the country.

"The impact of the implementation of Biofuels Bill will be 30-50 centavos. We are still negotiating with the suppliers. This estimated impact on diesel pump prices may change depending on the results of the negotiations," Whitehouse said.
