[Title] => The tower of the unread books
[Summary] => At the start of the year, disgusted at what I perceived to be my own sloth, I resolved to read at least one book every week. Since then I’ve begun to suspect myself of industry, but I’ve managed to meet my reading quota. Granted, I have more time to read than people who have to report to the office daily, raise their children and relate to their spouses, or all of the above. Having what is considered a "regular" life seems to require a lot of work. Also, vast chunks of my schedule have been freed up now that I’ve stopped watching television altogether.

[Title] => Further mischief
[Summary] => PARIS, France Paris is definitely a city for play. Unfortunately, we were there for a bit of work. Three of our party (i.e. Juan, my wife Yvonne and I) happen to belong to a little militant outfit of fashion misfits called HG. We got together in places like Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf three years ago and spent a good deal of our time talking about how boring most of the stuff being put out in fashion magazines before finally deciding to see if we could do any better.

[Title] => Return to center
[Summary] => Never trust an artist. Especially when theyre talking about their work. (Im a liar myself so I know what Im talking about; I aint no artist so I get off easy.) For example, Andre Breton and the rest of the Surrealists sure proved to be adept at using words more than any art movement before it.

[Title] => RJ Fernandez: Photograms & edgy memories
[Summary] => Matmos, composed of M.C. Schmidt and Drew Daniel, creates music using the strangest of instruments: pages of Bibles turning, amplified crayfish nerve tissue, rat cages, human skulls, a steel guitar recorded in a sewer, Aspirin tablets hitting a drum kit across the room, five gallons of oatmeal, slowed down whistles and kisses, etc.
