[Title] => Ateneo puts up medical school
[Summary] =>
Last Saturday, I attended the groundbreaking rites for the building that will house the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health at the Meralco compound in Ortigas. While it was easy to dismiss it as just one of those pipe dreams when I first heard about this plan 10 years ago, I knew it would be realized sooner than later because it had Dr. Alran Bengzon as its principal backer.

[Title] => Doctor, educator, builder of men
[Summary] => On Monday, October 14, in the beautiful chapel of the Loyola School of Theology, Doctor Alran Bengzon celebrated his 70th birthday. The Mass was said by Father Ben Nebres, S.J., the president of the Ateneo de Manila University. Father Catalino Arevalo S.J. delivered the homily. Both paid deserving tribute to a good man.

[Title] => We need a way out for Estrada - DEMAND AND SUPPLY
[Summary] => As the impeachment hearings go on, it is becoming clear that there will be no winners, whatever happens in the end. Positions are hardening and it will take a miracle to quickly get the country back on course. It does not help that rumors abound about the possibility of a coup. As I have maintained in this column, we will all be better off if the President just resigned so we can start over.
