Asuncion was born on Oct. 2, 1931 and passed away on May 2 at his home in Gen. Tinio in La Loma. He left behind his widow, the former Evangeline Custodio, a son (Alvin), three daughters and a number of nieces who Asuncion treated like his own daughters.
