[Title] => Strike three you’re out over traffic fines!
[Summary] => It seems that the Lapu-Lapu statue issue refuses to die down and it is only due to many indignant Cebuanos who go out of their way to fight anyone who wants to remove the Lapu-Lapu statue erected at the Agrifina Circle in the Luneta, which was a gift by the Korean Freedom League in honor of the Filipino soldiers who fought and died during the Korean War.

[Title] => Lapu-Lapu's statue must stay in Luneta
[Summary] => We stayed up in the wee hours of dawn to witness the final game for the World Cup at the famous Macarana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro between Germany and Argentina. I am not really a huge football fan but the finals in the World Cup Games are worth waking up for. And indeed what a game it was, when Germany's Mario Gotze kicked a goal in the Argentinean corner in the last 7-minutes of the extra time giving Germany its stunning victory not seen since 24-years ago.

[Title] => A response from lawyer Jose Roy III
[Summary] => I have two lengthy emails in response to our article, first from Atty. Jose “Judd” Roy III on that article we wrote entitled “Who’s Sorry Now” and a letter by Sen. Richard “Dick” Gordon in response to our column about the attempted removal of the statue of Lapu-Lapu which stands at the Agrifina Circle in the Luneta. Since the two letters are quite lengthy, I will first discuss the letter of Atty. Roy and put Dick Gordon’s letter for Tuesday.
