Lucia Street in Intramuros came alive when 100 lampposts installed by the Volunteers for Intramuros Preservation (VIPs) were switched on in a ceremony that launched the first phase of the groups lighting project. Held at the Baluarte de San Diego Gardens, palanggas, the ceremony was participated in by chairperson Betty Tenchaves, pres. Presy Ramos, director Susan Grau, Meralco pres. Chito Francisco, DOT Sec. Dick and Olongapo Mayor Kate Gordon, diplomats and the Intramuros business community.
