A buff-and-polish job delivers even tone for lackluster skin and makes smoothness a priority. Rich in sweet almond extract and marshmallow root, Chanel’s Revitalizing Smoothing Scrub is now a staple in my shower. The combination of jojoba and polyethylene exfoliating beads in this scrub are a perfect blend. You can customize exfoliation to be gentle (on fragile areas like the bust and stomach) or more intense (on rougher areas such as the hips, thighs, knees and elbows) depending on the application technique used — either by massaging gently or by concentrated rubbing with circular movements. As the beads gently brush away flakes of dead, dull skin, they release softening agents that envelop the body in an emollient film that smells of water hyacinth, lily of the valley and hawthorn. Freshly exfoliated skin is a perfect primed candidate for other products in the range as the skin is more receptive to the actions of moisturizers and treatments once prepped.

Honestly, I’ve never believed in anti-cellulite products. How can a product claim to erase the dimples in my skin? Bad admission, but I’ve got them on my thighs. Regardless of weight, cellulite is an equal-opportunity beast, affecting most people in the ugliest of ways. An uneven distribution of fat cells is what it is, and it’s a total nightmare. Some of my most favorite products to try are body creams. Stepping out of the shower and slathering on moisturizer that smells wonderful is a little luxury in my daily grind. The sight and scent of this blush-pink iridescent lotion delights me. First off, it’s the shade of Chanel’s trademark hue. It also smells lovely and delicate, of seringa and wild rose. Fresh and light, it’s such a joy using this moisturizing milk, which really does its duty. Algae loaded with polysaccharides delivers mega hydration while the pearly white pigments enhance skin texture and lend the body a luminous glow. Moisturized and radiant, all I need now is a Chanel dress!

Our precious paws are constantly undergoing grueling activity and are subject to copious amounts of hand washings.
