While busy rehearsing for their pre-Valentine show this weekend and tomorrow, Feb. 13, at the Music Museum, with show time at 8:30 p.m., I asked good friends Vina Morales, Geneva Cruz, and Rachel Alejandro if they still have time to read and what they like to read.

The girls share their top three books: The Bible

It succeeds in convincing you that French women can eat bread, pastry, wine, and regular three-course meals and not get fat... Yeah, right!

HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE by J.K. Rowling

I love any story where the hero can fly. I found this to be the most fun of the Harry Potter series although it also made me cry. If you’ve read it, you know why.

PRIDE AND PREJUDICE by Jane Austen

I loved this novel as a child and read it a few times. It makes us realize that the issues about love are almost the same regardless of time and setting.

THE LEFT BEHIND SERIES by Tim La Haye and Jerry B. Jenkins

An action-packed fictional tales about the end of the world, I find it to be an imaginative take on the Book of Revelations. It promotes the Gospel of Jesus Christ in an entertaining way through the life of his characters.
