Quezon City ushers in 2025 with commitment to progress
MANILA, Philippines — The Quezon City government is committed to continue working for the city’s progress and community development this 2025.
In their New Year message, Mayor Joy Belmonte and Vice Mayor Gian Sotto lauded residents and the communities for coming together to weather various challenges last year, including natural calamities and other problems, both personal and professional.
“The year 2024 proved to be challenging for all of us… Yet, just as in previous years, we came together as one community – supporting each other, working hand in hand and showing genuine compassion,” Belmonte said.
“In 2025, we aspire for the continued progress of our city. We dream that with each passing day, we move closer to our goals – toward better conditions for our community, our families and every individual,” she added.
Belmonte expressed hoped for a prosperous, joyful and meaningful 2025.
She encouraged everyone to look forward to a new year that is filled with promise and opportunities.
She also assured the city’s stakeholders of the local government’s readiness to provide every form of assistance.
Like in previous years, the city government hosted a New Year countdown at the Quezon Memorial Circle to welcome 2025.
