4 Chinese nabbed for ‘fraud, smuggling’

ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines — Four Chinese were arrested for alleged involvement in fraud and smuggling activities in M’lang, North Cotabato on Monday.

Lt. Col. Roden Orbon, spokesman for the Joint Task Force Central and the Army’s 6th Infantry Division, said the suspects – Liu Dezhen, Tianpei Wu, Wang Lian Xu and Tang Zhongyi – did not resist when agents of the Bureau of Immigration and National Bureau of Investigation served a mission order, equivalent to an arrest warrant, on the suspects’ firm in Barangay Nueva Vida.
