Fires in Cebu City, Mandaue City

CEBU, Philippines — A fire was reported at the Development Bank of the Philippines along Osmeña Boulevard, Barangay Kalubihan, Cebu City, on Sunday afternoon.

Damage was set at P4.8 million.

The fire alarm was received at 5:19 PM, was raised to first alarm at 5:22 PM and second alarm at 5:33 PM.

The fire that affected 60 square meters of the DBP building, was put under control at 6:14 PM and was totally extinguished at 6:25 PM.

Two individuals were affected as a total of 38 firetrucks responded to the fire that partially hit the government-owned property.

Also, a massive fire struck a residential area in Zone Talong, Barangay Paknaan, Mandaue City, Cebu, on Sunday night.

The fire has been raised to fourth alarm as of 8:04 PM .(CEBU NEWS)
