Quake hits Lanao del Sur town
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the quake’s epicenter was located three kilometers southeast of Wao, where it was felt at Intensity 5.

MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.9 earthquake struck the municipality of Wao in Lanao del Sur yesterday morning.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the quake’s epicenter was located three kilometers southeast of Wao, where it was felt at Intensity 5.

The temblor was also felt at Intensity 4 in Kalilangan in Bukidnon, Banisilan in Cotabato, and Amai Manabilang in Lanao del Sur.

Intensity 3 was felt in Don Carlos, Kadingilan, and Pangantucan in Bukidnon.
