MANILA, Philippines — Filipina Chezka Centeño is out to achieve a feat that’s never been done before – win two straight world 10-ball titles.
The 25-year-old Centeño came closer to that goal after she smashed 2022 champion Chouh Chieh-Yu of Taiwan, 1-4, 4-3, 4-1, 4-1, Friday to reach the semis of the WPA World 10-Ball Women’s Championship in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Up next for Centeno is South Korean Seoa Seo, who decimated American Sofia Mast, 4-3, 4-3, 4-1.
