Harvey Pagsanjan and their shackling defense proved to be decisive factors for the Generals, who jumped to solo fourth from fifth with a 7-7 card.
Pagsanjan paced his team with 13 points and five assists while the Generals limited Jimboy Estrada (norming 18 points) to just 10 and the Knights eight points below their average.
In the other game, College of St. Benilde edged University of Perpetual Help, 61-56, to remain unbreakable at the helm with a 12-2 record. The Altas slipped to 6-9.
