MANILA, Philippines — Tiniyak kahapon ni Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna na nakaalerto na ang anim na district hospitals at mga health centers ng Maynila dahil sa pananalasa ng bagyong Kristine.

Inatasan ni Lacuna si Manila Health Department (MHD) chief Dr. Poks Pa­ngan na tiyaking handa ang lahat ng city-run hospitals at health centers upang tumanggap ng mga pasyenteng may typhoon-related illnesses.

Kabilang sa anim na city-run hospitals sa Maynila ang Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center, Ospital ng Tondo, Justice Abad Santos General Hospital, Ospital ng Sampaloc, Ospital ng Maynila at ang Sta. Ana Hospital.

Ang mga health cen­ters naman sa lungsod na bukas rin upang magkaloob ng medical assistance sa mga residente, ay ang Tondo Foreshore Health Center sa District 1; Tondo Health Center sa District 2; OpCen (dating Mabini Health Center) sa District 3; District Health Office sa Belmonte Health Center sa District 4; Icasiano Health Center at LIC sa District 5 at Lacson Health Center sa District 6.

Bukod kay Pangan, inatasan ni Lacuna sina Manila Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO) chief Arnel Angeles, Manila Social Welfare Department (MDSW) head Re Fugoso, Department of Public Services (DPS) chief Jonathan Garzo, Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau (MTPB) Director Narciso Diokno at City Engineer Moises Alcantara na i-monitor ang sitwasyon at agarang rumesponde kung kinakailangan.
