Falcons AP.Bren, FlapTzy nominated in Mobile Gaming Awards

MANILA, Philippines – Reigning Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB) champions Falcons AP.Bren and finals Most Valuable Player David "FlapTzy" Canon have been nominated in the 2024 Mobile Gaming Awards.

Popularly known as MOBIES, the Mobile Gaming Awards comes from the same team that created the Esports Awards. It aims to recognize excellence, as well as celebrate achievements in the mobile gaming scene.

Falcons AP Bren is nominated for Mobile Team of the Year, while the team's EXP laner David "FlapTzy" Canon is nominated for Mobile Player of the Year.

Moonton Games is nominated for Developer of the Year; the Philippines' hosting of the M5 World Championships is nominated for Live Event of the Year; while MLBB is nominated for Mobile Game of the Year, Mobile Strategy Game of the Year, and Mobile Competitive Game of the Year.

Other notable nominees are Honkai: Star Rail for Mobile Game of the Year and Mobile Action Game of the Year. Honor of Kings, which was released globally last June, is nominated for three awards, Mobile Game of the Year, Mobile Strategy Game of the Year and Mobile Competitive Game of the Year.

PUBG Mobile is the top nominee with six nominations: Mobile Game of the Year, Mobile Action Game of the Year, Mobile Competitive Game of the Year, Campaign of the Year for its Dragon Ball Super collaboration, and two nominations under Live Event of the Year for its Global Championships and World Invitational while PUBG Mobile teams, IHC Esports and Alpha7 Esports are nominated for Mobile Team of the Year.

Fans have until November 3 to vote for their chosen nominees via the MOBIES website, while the Mobile Gaming Awards Ceremony will take place on November 12 in Los Angeles, California.
