MANILA, Philippines — All is set for the 28th edition of the SGV Group Regional Retired Partners Golf Tournament on Oct. 18 at the Orchard Golf and Country Club.
As a special prelude, a welcome golf game will be held Oct. 17 over at the Manila Golf Club, a friendly competition and reunion among retired partners.
Notable figures competing in the tourney include former Ambassador John Prasetio from Indonesia and Maris Samaram, former Thailand country managing partner and area managing partner for Indochina.
The Philippine hosting is spearheaded by Tomas Alvarez, a remarkable 93-year-old former partner who still plays with a 24 handicap.
