Special shoes for Yulo, pals

MANILA, Philippines — Filipino Olympic medalists Carlos Yulo, Nesthy Petecio and Aira Villegas were given a special, one-of-a-kind edition of Adidas Stan Smith shoes that bore their images.

The troika received the rare gift from Adidas yesterday at the Adidas Home of Sport Two Parkade in BGC in Taguig for their extraordinary performance in the Paris Games a month ago.

“Nagpapasalamat po ako sa mga kumikilala sa aming mga atleta,” said Yulo, who delivered a magnificent double-gold effort in the French capital.
