MANILA, Philippines — The city of Dapitan has rolled out the red carpet for the inaugural Dapitan Rizal Golf Cup set July 20-21 at the prestigious Dakak Golf Resort.
The event coincides with Dapitan City’s Kinabayo Festival, celebrating its religious beliefs and honoring the legacy of national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal. The Kinabayo Festival brings to life the legendary Battle of Clavijo, where Saint James is believed to have appeared riding a white horse and holding a white flag, leading to victory over the Moors.
