Abando parts ways with Red Boosters

MANILA, Philippines —  After two seasons, Filipino import Rhenz Abando parted ways with the Anyang Jung Kwan Jang Red Boosters, his mother club in the Korean Basketball League (KBL).

“It was a great two-year ride. It was like a rollercoaster ride with a lot of ups and downs. But nonetheless, I learned a lot. Until we meet again,” announced Abando on his official social media account. “Your JKJ Redbooster No. 12, now signing off.”

Abando paid gratitude to the Red Boosters for giving him his first international break. It’s unclear though as to where he’s headed.
