MANILA, Philippines -- Newly crowned National Basketball Training Center (NBTC) champion Terrence Hill has decommitted from Division 1 school Utah State University, he posted on social media.

Hill, the NBTC's one of the NBTC's Ato Badolato Most Outstanding Player in Division 1 play, bared that he made the "tough" decision after talking things through with his family.

"First off, I would like to thank the whole Utah State basketball recruiting staff on recruiting me and giving me the opportunity to play at the next level," Hill posted on his official Instagram page.

"This has been [a] tough decision and not an easy one to make. But after talking it over with my family, I have decided to decommit from Utah State University. Please respect my decision!" he added.

Hill was named in the NBTC's Mythical Five along with Fil-Am Nation Select-USA teammates Andy Gemao and Jacob Bayla.

Members of the NBTC Division 1 runners-up Adamson Baby Falcons, Tebol Garcia and Vince Reyes, completed the Mythical Five.

"My recruitment is 100% open!" he ended his Instagram post.

In the NBTC tournament, the 6-foot-2 guard averaged 17.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game.
